One of my largest prints is my Bee Print and I have only ever printed it a few times surprisingly. It is quite difficult to get an even and clean print and to find a paper that is smooth enough to not have white spots, but also rough enough to grab the ink. I haven’t carved anything in a long time because I have focused on stained glass, which does well at in person markets but not well on social media. 🐋Whale stained glass suncatcher! The bubbles on this one added so much depth to the piece! Some challenges for this one were getting all the pieces to fit perfectly within a metal circle to keep it sturdy. I always find that the last few pieces are always way off from my template and have to be retraced from the piece to fit, but that’s part of the process! I still need to work on making my solder lines cleaner, but it’s because I am using very old solder from my grandfather and the ratios of lead are different making it harder to bead! Can you believe this is the first time I tried brass stakes - literally a life saver and solders so easily to make plant stakes!!
